Charles works for the US Army as an Acquisition Manager for the National Guard Intelligence Center, Charlottesville, VA. Pat, his wife, is retired and is enjoying her hobbies. Charles is planning to retire again in January 2009. Charles and Pat are both graduates of the University of Maryland at College Park and have been married for 43 years. They have a daughter, Dana Ann Pflieger, who was born in Lakeland hospital December 1970 during their first assignment to Germany. They also have one grandchild. Charles joined the Army in December 1965 and retired as a Chief Warrant Officer after 20 years. He was assigned to Korea for 13 months and to Germany three different times, which totaled 11 years. The other 8 years they had assignments in South Carolina, New Jersey, Georgia and Maryland. When they retired from the Army they moved to Charlottesville, VA. Charlottesville is a beautiful city with a lot of history. Charlottesville is the hometown of Thomas Jefferson's. James Monroe also lived here and James Madison lived only a few miles north of Charlottesville. The University of Virginia (UVA) is in Charlottesville! Charlottesville has also been selected twice as the “Best Place to live in America” I am honored to be associated with the Class of 1963 from BHS. For me, my classmates have been one of the major driving forces in my life. My family is the other.” The Jones live at:
