Family Profile: Deb & I have been married for 41 years as of June 20, 2011. We have lived in Columbus for 32 of those years, after living in Trumbull, CT., Cincinnati. and Tuscaloosa, AL. Tyler was born in Cincinnati; Tara, in Bridgeport, CT. I worked for the same company for 27 years and left after serving as their COO for 5 years and after the company being acquired for the second time in a 5 year period. I was the CIO for CompuServe for two years until the WorldCom/AOL acquisition of that company. After 2 years managing the back office and e-Commerce business for Huntington Bank, I joined an Internet Software Company as their COO. After servving as the Executive VP & minority owner of Foresight Corporation for 10 years, we sold the company to TIBCO Software, Inc. in December 2009. In January 2012, I will have continued with the new company in transition for 2 years and plan to retire from my professional career. For the past 4 years, I have been Board Chair of a non-profit organization that provides IT services to other non-profits in Central Ohio and in Orange County, CA. In retirement, I will remain on the board, but have stepped down as board chair. Deb & I have just completed a first floor master suite addition to our house, since we have decided not to move. The project was a trauma; but we are happy to have the space and plan to stay until we go out feet first. Our daughter, Tara has been living in New Zealand for the past several years; and we haven't seen her in 3 years. Likewise, our year-old grandson has only been seen on Skype. So, we are planning a visit this winter to see her, meet her husband (who is from Brittany/France) and Emmanuel. Deb & I have been very blessed; and we are looking forward to being together more in my retirement years than we have during my high-travel career.
