Barbara retired from the Polk County School system after 20 years. She has been married to her husband Wendell, also a Summerlin ’63 grad, for 39 years. She helps Wendell a lot with their rental property when she is not busy with the grandchildren. Their children are Randel, age 36, an RN in Winter Haven, and Kimberly, age 24, who graduated from U.C.F. and is married to an Orlando police officer who is currently activated in the Navy.
