Pearle is a retired elementary special education teacher but still substitutes from time to time. She has been married to her husband Tom for 39 years. They have two children, Danny, age 30 and Meg, age 27. In the last few years, they have enjoyed living on St. George Island. Although they are both retired, they've become active in their church and civic club. While Pearle likes to go on short day hikes, Tom still enjoys backpacking, especially on the Appalachian Trail. Pearle serves on the Leesburg Women’s Retreat Design Team of the Florida Conference of the Methodist Church. She also enjoys wildflowers, lighthouses, water gardening, walking, camping, photography and developing cabin and house plans for the NC Mountains and St. George Island, FL. They live at:
