Dennis was born on August, 24, 1945 in New Jersey and grew up in Bartow. After graduation, he joined the United States Air Force and received training in electronics at Kessler Air Force Base, Mississippi. Due to a traffic accident, he left the Air Force after three years and pursued a career as a Nuclear Power Engineer. He worked for various nuclear power plants for over 30 years until he retired to Ocean Springs Mississippi. Dennis died suddenly at his Ocean Springs home on January 25, 2003. He was survived by two sons, a daughter, a brother and a sister.
