Gary M. Gandy, 51, of 5255 State Road 60, East, died Nov. 3, 1995, at Lakeland Regional Medical Center. Born in Bartow on Oct. 30, 1944, Gary was a life-long resident. He was a senior engineering services aide with Polk County’s engineering department. He was a member of Lake Garfield First Baptist Church where he had served as organist for 28 years., he also was active in Christian Mission International and supported three children in mission fields for many years. Survivors include his parents, Joe & Lillian Gandy of Bartow; three brothers, Billy J. Gandy of Lakeland, George W. Gandy and Frank M. Gandy, both of Bartow; and a sister, Joy Mc Bee of Bartow.
