On December 29,1963 Diane McClelland and I were married.We are blessed to have had three children,Tony,Lynn and Tammy.They have given us 7 grand kids and 4 great grand kids. In June 1963, I joined the U.S.Navy and went to Great Lakes for boot camp along with Mike Kemp and John Meyers. After boot camp, Mike and I went to the Fleet Sonar School in Key West Florida. With great help from Mike, I graduated. The school was very tough, fail two tests you were out. The drop out rate was 75 percent. My next duty station was aboard USS TWEEDY DE 532 in Pensacola Florida. There I operated and maintained sonar equipment for two years. April 17, 1967 I went to work for the IBM CORPORATION. At IBM I attended many schools over the next 30 years to repair there products. Retiring April 17, 1997 as senior technican.
