Thought I would let you know I have retired from the Polk County School Board as of 6/30/2009 after 32 years of service. I will continue as the Assistant Softball Coach at Bartow High School but otherwise will be taking life easy. Our son, Jeff and wife Crystal, will be having our first grandaughter (Eden Grace) in October,20009. Our grandson, Josiah, will also turn 4 in October, 2009. Betty continues as Principal of Churchwell Elementary in Lakeland, FL.
